Child safety standards
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Rachealo is a group habit app for people 13 and older. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are strictly prohibited on Rachealo, in any form. This page explains what is prohibited, how to report it and what we do when it happens.
What is prohibited
- Any child sexual abuse material: photos, videos, voice notes, stickers, text or links that show, describe or promote the sexual abuse of minors.
- Sexual or sexually suggestive content involving anyone under 18, even if shared by the minor themselves.
- Grooming: contacting a minor to gain their trust for sexual purposes, asking them for photos or to meet.
- Sextortion: threatening to share intimate images to get more images, money or anything else.
- Trafficking of minors or offering or exploiting them in any way.
- Using proofs, chat, profiles, group names or forfeits for any of the above.
How to report
- In the app, without leaving it: on the person's profile, a chat message or a proof, tap Report. You can also block the person right away.
- By email: write to juanselopex55@gmail.com with the person's username and what happened.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police or your local emergency number.
What we do
Proofs and chat are end-to-end encrypted: our server carries them but can't read them, so we don't review conversations on our own. When someone reports, the app sends us what that person saw, decrypted, so we can review it. For every report of this kind:
- We review it with priority.
- If confirmed, we remove the content and permanently close the account.
- We report it to the authorities: to NCMEC (the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, which takes reports from around the world) and, in Argentina, to the Specialized Cybercrime Prosecutor's Unit (UFECI) of the Public Prosecutor's Office, or to the relevant authority in each country.
- We keep what is needed for the investigation and cooperate with authorities when they request it through legal channels.
