Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Rachealo application ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. What the app is
The app lets you create groups with other people to keep habit streaks: the group sets required days, each member sends a proof (photo or video) or taps a button, the rest vote, and the app keeps track of streaks and announces who "owes the forfeit".
2. Account
- To use the app you sign in with a Google or Apple account and choose a username.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the law of your country to consent to the processing of your data).
- You're responsible for what's done from your account and for keeping access to your phone safe.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account) or as explained in Delete account.
3. Content and conduct
You're responsible for the content you send (proofs, messages, photos, videos, voice messages, stickers, group names, forfeits). You may not use the app to:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or bother other people;
- share sexual, violent or illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
- any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (see Child safety standards): we report it to the authorities and close the account;
- share other people's content without their consent;
- spam or use "annoying alerts" to harass someone;
- try to access other people's accounts, data or systems, or disrupt the service.
Your profile (photo, name and bio)
- Your profile photo, display name and bio are public: any user of the app can see them, unless you choose that your photo or bio can be seen by your friends only (Profile → Edit profile). Anyone who looks you up always sees your name and username.
- Unlike proofs and messages, your profile is not end-to-end encrypted, because people who aren't in your groups need to be able to see it.
- Your display name doesn't have to be your real name, and you can change it anytime.
- On your profile you may not upload illegal, sexual or sexually suggestive, violent or hateful content, content that infringes copyright or image rights, or photos of other people without their consent (including minors). You may not impersonate anyone.
- Anyone can report a profile. We may remove the photo or bio, or suspend the account, if it breaks these rules.
- The photo is resized on your phone before uploading (up to 512 × 512 px) and the server doesn't accept larger images.
"Forfeits" are social commitments between group members. The app doesn't control them and isn't responsible for them: don't accept or propose dangerous or illegal forfeits, or ones someone doesn't want to do.
4. Reports and moderation
You can report users, messages or proofs and block any user. Because content is end-to-end encrypted, when you report something the app attaches what you saw so we can review it. We may warn, suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
5. Subscriptions
- Some features are paid. There are three plans: Premium and Pro (personal) and group premium; what each one includes is shown in the app before you buy. They're charged as a monthly subscription through the App Store or Google Play, depending on your phone.
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it from the store. When you cancel, it stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds, prices and taxes are handled by the corresponding store under its own terms.
6. Availability
The app is provided "as is". We do our best for it to work well, but it may have interruptions or errors. Groups with no activity for 15 days are deleted automatically, and proofs are deleted when each day closes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app, for content posted by users, or for forfeits they agree on among themselves.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is important, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use it after the notice means you accept the new version.
9. Contact
